My approach is warm, grounded, and holistic, and centred around helping you feel safe, heard, and empowered, wherever you are on your path.

My work is shaped by nearly a decade of experience as a midwife, a Master’s degree in counselling, and many, many years spent walking alongside people through some of life’s most vulnerable and transformative moments. But just as importantly, it’s shaped by my own journey — as a mother, a partner, and someone who understands how deeply beautiful and challenging the experience of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood can be.

Whether you're preparing for birth, processing a past experience, or navigating the emotional ups and downs of early parenthood, I’m here to walk alongside you. My practice is rooted in empathy, gentle guidance, and a deep respect for your unique story and inner wisdom.

Winter is my season

I'm a mum to two little humans

I'm a wannabe homesteader

Not just for the coziness and slower pace, but because it reminds me that so much growth happens quietly, beneath the surface. It’s the season of preparing, restoring, and gently getting ready for what’s to come - just like life.

Who have taught me more about myself in the last five years than I ever could’ve imagined. They’ve been my greatest teachers in presence, patience, and the power of unconditional love.

My dream life includes chickens in the backyard, veggies in the ground, and a slower intentional rhythm that keeps me connected to the earth and myself.

A few fun facts

Throughout my work as a nurse, midwife, and counsellor, I’ve witnessed how much support is lacking for women during some of the most vulnerable and transformational times in their lives. I created Gentle Journeys because I saw a genuine need. Women deserve better. And our children deserve parents who are whole, supported, and not merely surviving after pregnancy and birth.

This work is deeply personal to me. I’ve poured my heart into combining my lived experience, love for this work, and a strong foundation in clinical and therapeutic training to create a space that truly honours the complexity of this journey.

Gentle Journeys was born from the meeting place of my two greatest passions: supporting families to feel respected, informed, and empowered throughout pregnancy and birth, and walking alongside women and families who need care, compassion, and guidance in the aftermath.

Perinatal counselling helps you address emotional challenges during pregnancy, birth, and the early years of parenting. It offers a safe space to talk through feelings of trauma, anxiety, disconnection, or overwhelm, helping you find clarity, peace, and healing so you can reconnect with yourself and your family.


Each session is personalized to your needs. You’ll be met with a caring, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about your feelings and experiences. Whether we focus on talk therapy, somatic healing, or other supportive techniques, we’ll work together to find the right approach for you.


The number of sessions varies depending on your unique situation and goals. Some clients come for just a few sessions, while others find longer-term support helpful. We’ll always check in together to see what feels best for you.


No! While many of my clients are new moms, perinatal counselling can help anyone who has experienced or is currently experiencing the challenges of conception, pregnancy, birth, or early parenting. If you’re struggling emotionally, no matter where you are in your journey, we can work together to help you heal.
